Need Help Deciding!

Okay all you creative interior design people, I need some help! I need to decide on a paint color for my kitchen and living room area in the new house. I bought a gorgeous piece to be the focus of the living room (probably above the mantle) - and I'd like to go from there. Found it in Canton. It is 4' x 4'. Huge and gorgeous!

Here are some pictures of the living room and kitchen area of the new house. These were taken when we first walked thru this house. The kitchen cabinets are not this cherry in person - more of a brown. We have a large tan sectional and I'd like to have turquoise accent pillows, etc.. I need to decide on a paint color asap. Let me know what you think!! Oh, and we'll also have dark hardwoods put in too. By the way, the turquoise piece barely fits over the mantle. I'm open for other suggestions too if you have them...

Help me decide on a paint color...please!!! :) I don't want to do the usual beige or light tan color. BORING.
