Friday night we went to the Carbolic Ball. It is basically a big formal charity event that the Nashville Bar Association puts on. We went with a few of Geof's friends and then met up with some others at the Parthanon (where the event was). It was a good time, and I got to dress up. I seriously felt like I was at prom - but with an open bar. :) Not the best quality pic, but it was the only picture I had without my hanger thingies hanging out of my dress. Ugh. Do you know what I'm talking about. Those long ribbons that you hang your halter dresses on the hangers with? Yep - all of the pictures I took (other than this one) had those long ribbons hanging out on the side. Why didn't anyone tell me? Geez.
Our Saturday was busy as well. We went with our realtor to look at a few houses. Found some good ones, but not quite exactly what we're looking for. We are getting closer though... We're going again tomorrow at noon to look at two more. I'll keep you posted if we really love something. I'm taking my camera too just in case. As for the townhouse, we're hoping to lease it at the end of the summer. Say a prayer! This poor dog needs a yard!
