Well, I have been out of the blog world for quite some time! Things with us are good!
A lot has happened in the way of a new church search. We have met with our elders at OC and decided that they are our family. That church is our home and we are going to stick with it. Very exciting to finally have closure on everything! It was so wonderful to see so many family faces at church this past Sunday.
We leave today for a small vacation to New York City. Bring on the shopping and the theatre! Geof will be in a conference all day Thursday and half of Friday, so I'll visit friends and shop, etc. Thursday night we have tickets to the Village Vanguard. Very famous jazz club that has been around since like 1935. I am so excited! Our friend Josh suggested that I absolutely must go. There is apparently a great quartet playing that night with an unbelievable organist too. YAY!!!! We don't have a lot of other activities planned, but we'll probably do dinner at the Rainbow Room and then go to the top of Rockefeller to the "Top of the Rock" for a great view of Manhattan. Other than that, we might see a Broadway show or two of course. It's supposed to be yucky rainy weather, but that won't stop me from shopping and enjoying the city!
